AngPao Design

Won first runner-up & most creative with this piece of AngPao Design.

My inspiration came from the traditional Chinese word itself. “興“ (Flourish) represents thriving and prosperous business or trade and developing country. Buildings on the design represent the top part of the word ”興”. The background is an everlasting ray of life from that sun that represents prosperity.

Theme “興“ (Flourish) - AngPao Design Competition 2019 hosted by HuaZhong in collaboration with 马来西亚年度汉字 (Malaysia Annual Selection of Chinese Characters).

The objective was to improve people's understanding of Chinese culture and encourage creativity in design/illustration.
